Fortnum & Mason, London

Fortnum & Mason underwent a major refurbishment of their Food Hall and Restaurants in 2006 prior to their Tri Centenary celebrations. GWP were employed by Fortnum & Mason to develop the foodservice and refrigeration design for the new Food Hall to ensure optimum display and sales capabilities, whilst maintaining critical product storage and display temperatures.

The counters, where necessary, were individually temperature controlled from a central pack refrigeration system designed by GWP.

In addition to the Food Hall design GWP were responsible for the bar design to the Fountains Restaurant, the Tea Production area to the Gallery Restaurant and the Ice Cream Display Counters to the award winning gelatria. To support the front of house activities a new central storage and production commissary was designed to ensure optimum product quality.
