As part of the Heathrow Terminal reorganisation following the opening of T5 GWP were appointed by Star Alliance to develop the First Class and Business Class foodservice facilities at Terminal 1.

 

Working with the varying international carriers forming the Star Alliance, GWP consolodated the varying First and Business Class foodservice offers of each airline to a Star Alliance standard.

 

Working with this standard offer and the existing support and storage facilities, GWP developed the foodservice system to meet the varying daily demand levels of both arrivals and departure lounges.

The service buffet counters at peak time have to cope with over 1000 passengers per hour, offering a high standard of hot and cold beverages as well as an impressive range of cold buffet items and a limited hot offer.
